Feel like being unproductive next week? Here are some advice on making the coming work-week a complete turd:

• Work alone on tasks, isolated from other people

• Don’t have a clear goal for the day.

• Don’t have anyone depend on the work you do

• Don’t have any ownership to the task or product

• Don’t have deadlines or milestones, just a loose idea to have it finished sometime in the future

• Don’t divide big tasks into smaller ones - preferrably, keep the task as open and as big as possible

• Make the task as boring as you possibly can

• If you do know your most important task for the day, aim to do it just before going home.

• Read emails, news sites, and social media immediately before starting working. Do this in the office on the same computer that you do your work on. The goal is to scatter your brain in a million different directions, creating an unfocused state.

• Sleep badly

• Don’t exercise

• Keep your sub-concious occupied with endless unfinished tasks

• Never write things down, just try to keep it all in your head

• Keep as many browser tabs open as you can

• Pile up as many disorganized documents as you can on your desk

• Get as big of a screen as possible and have as many windows up at the same time as you can.

• Enable all notifications - sound, popups, everything

• Get paid by the hour rather than by project
